INEX Winternationals: Maritime Report

Seven drivers with Maritime roots are making tracks at Auburndale Speedway in Florida this week for the 2012 INEX Winter Nationals. Be sure to check back here nightly for how our guys are doing down South!

DAY THREE - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd

Bandolero Outlaw: Cole Tanner (Shubenacadie, NS) came home with another top five, finishing in fourth place on Day 3. Cole Boudreau of Chipman, NB had to settle for 7th place

Pro Legends: Dylan Blenkhorn of Truro, NS started in 15th for the main feature and came home with a 12th place finish.

Semi-Pro Legends: For the second consecutive race, Ryan Mackintosh (Amherst, NS) was involved in an early race wreck in his feature. He finished 14th on Wednesday.

Masters Legends: Paul Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) was the top Maritimer in the Masters Division on Day 3, finishing 9th in the feature. "The Legend" Cy Harvey (Elmsdale, NS) returned on Wednesday to finish 12th while Moncton, NB's Gary Bursey finished 16th.

Petty International Raceway and Speedway Miramichi Info Meetings This Weekend

Stock car racers who are looking to race at Petty International Raceway and Speedway Miramichi are reminded of the information meetings being held this weekend to discuss the 2012 season.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH
Petty International Raceway Meetings
Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame, Petitcodiac, NB
The Bandolero meeting is from 11 a.m. to Noon; the 4 Cylinder and Street Stock meeting from Noon to 1:30 p.m.; and the Sportsman meeting is from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19th
Speedway Miramichi Information Meeting
Mike's Bar, Newcastle, NB
Meeting begins at Noon.

Tim's Corner Challenge for the NiSWC Announced

Tim's Corner Motorsports is pleased to announce that the Tim's Corner Challenge for the competitors in the 2012 NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship (NiSWC). The Tim’s Corner Challenge is a contingency program which was founded in the GSRacing.net Truck Series in the 2011-12 season and will be padding pockets of those in iRacing’s top series starting at Daytona on Tuesday, February 21st.

Pro Series Pocono winner Jon Adams is one of the drivers vying for the Tim's Corner Challenge in 2012.
